How Many Courses Can I Play?
Included in your membership are two 18-hole courses at Chichester Golf Club, an 18-hole course at Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and an 18-hole course at Horton Park Golf Club near Epsom. There is also a 9-hole Par 3 both at Chichester and Horton Park.
What Are the Facilities Available at Chichester Golf Club?
At Chichester Golf Club we have two 18-hole course – the Cathedral Course and the Tower Course, as well as a 9-hole Par 3 short course and a 27-bay driving range. There is also a spike bar and function rooms which are available for hire. The bar is open daily and offers a range of food and drink throughout the day.
What are the other Clubs in the Group Like?
Our sister clubs offer a fantastic range of courses and facilities. Hill Barn Golf Club which is in Worthing has an 18-hole downs course which was designed by Fred Hawtree in the 1930s and boasts magnificent views over the South Downs and the coast. Horton Park Golf Club in Epsom has an 18-hole parkland course and a 9-hole Par 3 short course as well as a driving range. Both also have Clubhouse and function facilities.
When Can I Play?
When you play depends on the category of membership you choose. All members can play all four 18-hole courses Monday to Friday (excl. bank holidays) at any time. Weekend play depends on whether you choose a 7 Day or 7 Day Plus Membership (see “What is the Best Membership For Me”).
When Will I Need to Renew if I Join Now?
Membership works on a rolling 12 month period, and you would normally renew on the anniversary of when you joined. However, with our special 14 months for the price of 12 offer you will renew in 14 months time and then subsequently on an annual basis.
What is the Best Membership for Me?
We have three types of membership available to suit you. The details are given below and if you need any help or advice then please do ask and we will be happy to assist you. The type of membership you choose depends on whether you are likely to play mostly during the week or at the weekend and how often you are likely to play at one of our sister clubs at the weekend.
- 7 Day Plus - Valid 7 days a week on any of the courses in the Maple Leaf Golf Group
Ideal if you want to play on any day of the week and make the most of all three clubs in the Maple Leaf Golf Group. As well as unlimited play every day on both courses at Chichester Golf Club you can also play on the 18-hole courses at Hill Barn Golf Club and Horton Park Golf Club during the week and at the weekend. This is the ultimate membership package offering maximum flexibility and choice.
At £895 for the year plus affiliation fees this option works out at under £18 a week
- 7 Day - Valid 5 days a week* on any of the courses in the Maple Leaf Golf Group PLUS on the Cathedral Course at Chichester Golf Club at the weekend
Ideal if you are going to play the Cathedral Course at Chichester at the weekend as well as during the week with the option to play the other courses on a week day.
At £795 for the year plus affiliation fees this option works out at under £16 a week
- 5 Day - Valid 5 days a week* on any of the courses in the Maple Leaf Golf Group
Ideal for those who are going to play Monday to Friday with the opportunity to play on all of the courses within the group.
At £695 for the year plus affiliation fees this option works out at under £14 a week
* 5 days a week refers to Monday to Friday and excludes Bank Holidays
What Competitions Do You Run?
Weekly competitions are run by the Men, Ladies and Veterans sections of the Club. These are only open to Club Members.
In addition there are also weekly “Roll Up” Competitions open to all – held on a Wednesday and Saturday morning and a Thursday evening during the Summer.
Competitions are a great way to meet other members and are open to everyone regardless of your handicap.
Can I Pay Monthly?
Yes – you can pay each month by direct debit – see the membership information page of the website or ask for details of the monthly instalments. There is a small fee for paying by this method. The joining fee must be paid separately on joining.
How do I set up a direct debit?
Complete a Direct Debit Mandate when you join – give it back to us and we will do the rest.
Is there a joining fee?
Yes – we have a one off joining fee of £150 which all new members must pay when joining. Whilst you maintain your membership subscriptions you will never have to pay the joining fee again.
