At Chichester Golf Club our main aim is to achieve a strong section where the Juniors are competitive yet enjoy themselves and have fun. We regularly hold Club competitions and Juniors are also selected to play matches against other golf clubs. The Club also takes part in the West Sussex League and other Sussex County tournaments. Juniors with lower handicaps can also compete in the Ladies or the Men’s Club Competitions.

Our dedicated Junior Organiser, Aaron Squires will be happy to help get you involved in matches and competitions so just give him a call on 01243 536666 or email aaron.squires@chichestergolf.com.  He can also help to arrange for Junior members to acheive a handicap. You don’t have to be able to get a specfic score to gain a handicap as we operate a Club handicap system which goes up to 54. All you need to do to get this is complete three scorecards; it is really easy!

Membership

Chichester Golf Club is a progressive club and Junior Membership encompasses more than just golf. As a Member you will receive unlimited play on any of the four 18-hole courses in the Maple Leaf Group which include the Tower and Cathedral courses at Chichester, 18-hole course at Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and on the 18-hole Millennium course at Horton Golf Club in Surrey. As an added bonus you will also be able to play the 18-hole Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf Course, Footgolf course and 9-hole Par 3 Course at Chichester absolutely FREE!! You will also receive a discount on range balls and have the ability to gain a 10% discount in the Pro Shop, Clubhouse and Jungle Java Cafe so you can even save money on pizza and ice cream too (subject to T&C’s)!!

Membership starts from £120 per year if you are aged 14 or under and it is just £140 per year for 15-17 year olds – thats less than £3 per week for unlimited golf. You will also need to pay £20 affiliation and member insurance fees at the time of joining.

Junior Weekly Roll Up

Start, Learn ,Play!

Good news! From Saturday 26th November and on a weekly basis we are running fun, relaxed and informative Junior Roll-Up Sessions from 1pm-2pm at the Chichester Golf Academy which is run by our two expert PGA teaching professionals Mark Wood and Iain Naylor.

All ages and abilities are welcome to join our fun, game based sessions that teach the fundamentals of golf for little minds. Please note that you do not need to be a member of the Club to take part.

Not only is it a great introduction to this great game it also provides an opportunity to play golf with other children of a similar age and make lasting friendships.

At these sessions you’ll learn all you need to know about playing golf:

• Getting ready to play
• Putting
• Short game
• Full swing
• Playing round a course
• Improve fitness

You’ll also take part in:

• Fun based games and challenges
• Competitions and festivals

These fun sessions will be held every Saturday from 26th November 2016 from 1pm-2pm at a cost of £7.50 per child, per session. No equipment is necessary as everything you need can be provided.
