8 December 2005 Member Survey 2005: The Results
A big thank you to everyone who completed a membership survey. The feedback has been invaluable in formulating our plans for the Club. Many members provided us with their e-mail address and we will be using e-mail and the club’s web site as the main vehicles of communication in 2006. The purpose of the survey is to provide us with feedback to ensure that the Club is moving in the direction favoured by the members and to review the 5-year plan for the Cathedral course. The feedback from the membership suggests that the modifications to the 7th and 8th holes on the Cathedral have been well received but that you see other matters of higher priority than completing the 5-year plan. We plan therefore to concentrate our investment this coming year on the pathways. With specific upgrades planned for the 1st, 4th 6th and 7th holes and a general resurfacing of many of the principal pathways. Many members have taken a golf lesson with our professionals and rate them as excellent. As an extra incentive to get your game in shape ready for the Spring, we are offering a Special Members 25% discount on all individual golf lessons taken in January and February 2006. So call the Academy on 01243 528999 and make your booking now. Finally my staff and I would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2006.
